It’s ouch time at the pumps again and we are all feeling the pain. Good new though is with the new motors that are 40% more fuel efficient than the older generation. So take a breath and fish closer to your ramp and enjoy our wonderful sport of boating! This to shall pass.

National Laboratory performed test on three outboards. 9.9 four stroke, 300 four stroke and 200 EFI two stroke. All three failed before the 300 hour test was complete. The two stroke disintegrated. Watch where you fill up.

The weather man is calling for the first freeze of the year. October 19th is their forcast. If you haven’t started thinking about winterizing now is the time. Inboard motors that have not been properly winterized will freeze and crack your block. This is a very expensive mistake. Don’t chance it.
