About CORY STECKLER

In Kansas City, Missouri, and at a very young age, Cory’s mom and dad got him into the outdoors. Once his dad bought his first boat, when he was 14 years old, his love for bass fishing began. Cory started fishing competitively in 2004. Cory then moved on to Pittsburg State University. Shortly after graduation in 2008, Cory moved to Lake of the Ozarks where he currently lives.

Cory currently fishes the MLF Toyota series, the MLF Phoenix Bass Fishing League, the Anglers in Action Tournaments, the Ozark Mountain Team Trail, the Oak Outdoors Elites, and the Joe Bass Team Trails. While competing in the MLF series, Cory has 2 wins and 11 top ten finishes, 5 Anglers in Actions series wins. While fishing the OMTT, Cory has qualified for 2 Bassmasters team national championships.

Cory currently runs a 2023 PHOENIX PHX 21, his 4th PHOENIX boat.

Cory lives with his girlfriend, Kendy, and 3 rescue dogs while owning a painting company at Lake of the Ozarks.
