About David Townsend

We are proud to introduce David Townsend as the newest Pro Staff team member here at Angler’s Port.  David is a 20 year Air Force veteran and avid crappie fisherman.  He has been crappie fishing for 13   years and tournament fishing for 5 years.  He currently competes in Crappie Masters, the Truman Lake Series Tournament Circuit and local tournaments.  He has five top ten tournament finishes in Crappie Masters and has also qualified for the Crappie Masters National Championship every year he has competed.  Lastly, he is a member of the Capital Crappie Club based out of Jefferson City, Missouri.

 David is diverse in many crappie fishing techniques and the equipment needed to fish these techniques.  He is always willing to educate and show other people how to utilize those techniques and equipment effectively.
