About DUSTY RICHARDSON

Growing up on Truman Lake, Dusty strived to be a tournament angler and has been one for many years. He’s topped the field in several regional tournaments, weighing in at the top in the Joe Bass Team Trail last April on Stockton Lake and in May of 2020 on Pomme de Terre. Also, finding himself in the money in Bass World Sports 2022 plus various Reeves Brothers’ Outdoor Tournaments and the Bass Fishing League back on Stockton, one strategy rings true. Dusty has had 8 Phoenix Boats in his decorated career. His boat of choice now is a 2022 Phoenix 920 Elite powered by Mercury from Angler’s Port Marine.

When he’s not competing on the water, Dusty finds solace hunting, fishing with the family, or working on the farm with his two beautiful children, Sadie, who’s 11, and Sawyer, who is 5. Every successful angler needs a support system, and Dusty found his wife, Katie. Dusty is the owner and operator of Cox Collision and Dents Unlimited, a collision repair shop in Springfield, MO.
