About LANE KING

Proudly from Harrison, AR, Lane King grew up fishing on Bull Shoals Lake where his family fished bass tournaments. After fishing a small bass club series with his uncle and high school trails, Lane found himself recruited by Rick Emmitt and the Drury University Bass Fishing Team. Lane came to Drury in Springfield, MO, on academic and fishing scholarships where he is studying Business Marketing and Pre-Ministry.

Lane has had two bass boats since he started tournament fishing. He currently fishes out of a PHOENIX 921 Elite II, which he has purchased from Angler’s Port Marine.

Lane fishes BASS, MLF, and ACA college tournament trails. He’s won some local events back on his home lake but hasn’t stood on the stage at the college level just yet.

Lane is young and single plus he’s very close to his two other brothers. With very supportive parents, Lane finds that his dad offers full support, pushing him to learn and get better while mom is the cheerleader, always eager to hear stories and see pictures. Lane is involved with many church events, Christian groups, and bible study groups throughout the week. When not fishing, Lane likes to spend his free time hunting.
