About Spencer Clark

Spencer Clark, a lifelong angler from the St. Louis area, is the Owner and Operator of Breaking Bass Guide Service, where he guides over 170 days a year on Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo. With over 30 years of fishing experience, Spencer specializes in bass, walleye, and trout, and his favorite species to target is the Large Mouth Bass. Recently, he upgraded his equipment with a Phoenix 921 Elite boat, powered by a 250 Mercury, marking a new chapter in his career as a professional guide. Spencer is insured and licensed as a Certified 25-Ton Master Captain with the U.S. Coast Guard, ensuring that his trips are not only enjoyable but also safe and professional.

In addition to his guiding career, Spencer has a successful tournament background, having been crowned the 2019 BFL Regional Champion Co-Angler on the Grand Lake in Oklahoma, qualified for the 2020 BFL All American on Lake Hartwell, and won a $25,000 scholarship at the FLW College Fishing Championship on Lake Monroe in Indiana. His expertise on the water has earned him sponsorships from top brands such as Phoenix Boats, Mercury®, Kast King, EFactor Lures, Arkie Lures, Success Awards, Bait Cave Customs, Hayabusa, Miller Tech Performance Lithium Batteries, Tri-Lakes Pest Control, Fish USA, Underdawg Supplements, and Branson Trailer Services, further solidifying his standing in the fishing community. Spencer credits fellow guides Mike Gold and Andre Dickneite for introducing him to Phoenix Boats, which ultimately led to his first boat purchase.

Outside of fishing, Spencer enjoys weightlifting, cooking, hiking, and anything water related. His large social media presence allows him to share his passion for the outdoors and connect with fellow anglers. Through his guidance, tournaments, and content creation, Spencer continues to make an impact in the fishing world, providing unforgettable experiences for his clients while maintaining strong connections with the fishing community.
